Landers Family
Matthew ~ A loving husband and father. The love for the Lord is shown in all that he does. He has been a marine as long as we been married and loves most every moment of it. Having time with his family is at the top of his list. He feels that his kids need to know that he is always there for them no matter what.
Matthew is from a small town in Michigan that he moved to when he was young and went to school at. He enjoys being outside and trying new things. He has one sister, when ask he say they did not talk much growing up, and now when you ask he says he dose not need to talk to her much because he has a wife that talks to her daily! They may not talk daily but he loves her, and enjoys the time we get to have with and her family!
Amber ~ is a stay at home mom and a wife of a marine. Some would say that is a ton. But she also home-schools their kids, and take a part in Sunday School at their Church! She has a big family that she love, and misses them dearly being in the military. If ask 15 years ago where she would think she would be this is not it. Being 3000 miles from family was not on her goal list. As she Home-schools their kids she is also learning new things and remember old things. She loves to have the kids in the kitchen with her cooking and baking. And her main goal is to show them to be a Godly wife and mother. She is still working on this daily. And always keeping in mind Gods plan for her and her family
How they meet ~ It was a cold day in January in a some what bigger town then Matthew lived in at a Christian Camp in Evert Michigan. Matthew had been working there for a few months and Amber was just starting there. They both work in the Kitchen and dinning hall! Amber is a talker and loves to talk! Matthew not a talker at all....not even a little. They work the front line together for weeks.
Amber ~ It took me weeks to find something that he loved....I mean weeks!! I work at it, but once I did that's what we talk about. Again for weeks. I never knew there was so much I did not know about computers. Yes weeks and weeks of talking about nothing but computers! Just to let you all know I still know nothing about them. And I'm okay with that. 15 months later we started dating and 11 months after that we were married. A little fast, maybe but we knew each other for over 2 years. To this day Matthew is still not a talker, we do talk about more than just computers! And he does talk more now then he did back then.
Tinker Bell ~ She came in to our life in May of 2006 big smiles that goes on for miles! She is our little elephant, she does not forget anything! And been that way from day one! She loves to learn and read. Has a love for animals that we think will give her a job when she is older. She love to be inside, outside, camping or at a hotel. She just happy! She has a mind of her own and knows it. If she does not want to do something watch out she has a "will" that could start world war 3! Once her mind is made up there not much you can do. It can be a good thing...but then it can be back. She loves her family, and tries her hardest to make them happy!
Ariel ~ She came to us in January of 2009, and with a nickname like Ariel you would think that she just love the water....not really. We gave them Disney nicknames for the blog. She starting to like the water...when she was little not so much at all. She is a lover not a fighter. Does not like having anyone mad at her. For the first few years of life she was Tinker Bell mini me, but now is seeing that she can still play with her and be her own person and that's fun to see. She is a little more girly then her big sister, and may not be in to all the sports, she is a little more laid back and careful
